| Sumario: | The electoral redistricting of 2004 created 28 electoral districts with indigenous mayority, the intention was to provide the representation of the democratic indigenous community. The use of the electoral indigenous districts in the legislation elections of 2006 and 2009 had minimum satisfactory effects. The number of representatives arriving to the house of representatives for this purpose was too low; and their presence turn out insufficient to place the themes of the indigenous community on the national legislation agenda. |
