Sumario:This paper deals with the meassures undertaken in the scope of technologies by the Departamento de Biblioteconomia y Documentacion of the Universidad Complutense through its multimedia document service MultiDoc for the last three years (2002-2004), pointing as well to the new trends in a soon coming future. Research lines include a wide array of proposals: resarch on information retrieval, including a proposal to stablish a SMA multi-agent system, applications and developments of databases, programming, automatic processing and representation of knowledge systems, nets and the semantic web, research proyects in development and planning phases, e-learning, online and offline electronic publishing... Ultimately the state of the iberoamerican informative documentation net Info-DocNet is analysed in its second developmente phase.
