Sumario:Recently several analyses discussing the continuity of the global recovery have been disseminated. In this paper the author diligently analyzes the recent economic behavior of the countries members of The Group of Twenty (G- 20) plus Spain and Netherlands, classifying them in accordance to their performance during the current financial and economic crisis and the actions taken to deal with it. Finally the author studies the economic perspectives of the world economy, emphasizing the absence of a sound reasoning for assuming the Mexican economy will, in the real world, ensue the virtuous path of development that the IMF forecasts.
