Sumario:The article refers to the complex interplay of elements and phenomena that reshape the structure and composition of International Law and International Relations. This has led to various visions of thinkers from around the world on theoretical, political and social fields. Faced with these challenges, the author stresses the need for Mexican lawyers and internationalists about understanding that is essential that Western and non-Western legal culture may converge, in order to achieve the restructuring and reorientation of international law. He points out that a significant portion of Mexico’s contributions to the critique of Public International Law in the context of its transformation and its major trends in the current world order is its universalist vision, and insists on rethink about the discipline from its epistemological nature to distinguish three approaches: 1) analytical; 2) historical and sociological and 3) axiological. Finally, he refers to the articles and authors who have published since 1975 in this magazine and represent the major trends in public and private international law in Mexico.
