Sumario:This paper presents a brief overview of Latin American art from the 1950s to the 1970s, taking into account the main transformations in the artistic field in the period. This analysis is based on a general reading of the implantation of the first modern cultural equipment, which has as its background the penetration of the constructive ideologies linked to the developmental projects. Then, it seeks to reflect on the advent of experimental art, from the case study of propositions elaborated by conceptual artists. This examination starts from a relevant theoretical repertoire for the sedimentation of the main currents of the artistic and political thought of the region. Analysis allows us to broaden the accounts of art history beyond the uniqueness of the object by inscribing it in a multifocal dialogue.
