Sumario:In this article we present a genealogical analysis of the three discourses of good living (indigenous, socialist and post-developmentalist) in Ecuador between 1992 and 2016. In order to do so, we set three objectives: determine the emergence of the concept of good living in political discourses in Ecuador, describe its evolution from then until now, and identify the implicit imposture in them.
