| Sumario: | The article attempts to analyze processes that are present in capitalist urbanization in contemporary world setting in evidence new and old themes such as globalization, population movements and connectivity coexisting with socio-spatial inequality, segregation and exclusion in access to the built environment, precariousness and poverty. By revealing that social cartographies come to coincide with maps of environmental vulnerability, the article outlines some brief suggestive guidelines of sustainability for cities. |
