The images published in the media try to fill such statements, using pictures with children, political leaders, among others. Are broadcast images that do not mischaracterize the candidate, but depended on the political dispute that is drawn. The paper analyzes the images published in magazines Veja and Isto é of the presidential campaigns of 1989, 2002 and 2006 to estabilish interactions between mood and images of the main candidates. The exhibition of humorous situations of candidates aims desacralize power.
