Sumario:The discussion presented is characterized as an instrument of political and cultural analysis of two large Brazilian authors, namely, Sergio Buarque de Holanda and Gilberto Freyre in their works: Roots of Brazil and Casa Grande-&-Senzala. It seeks for the first time, understand the sociological discussion that crossed the political culture in "training"of the country in light of Sergio Buarque de Holanda. And the second time, we seek to circumscribe the political-cultural formation of Brazil through concepts guessed by Gilberto Freyre.
