Sumario:The changes imposed by the "new" society that grows starting from the decade of 1970 strengthen the category space and territory in the investigation and in the planning in health. The historical approach between the Epidemiology and the Geography gets new pulse through the proportionate progresses for the call "Critical Geography". Countless contributions are given for the important debate about the Geography of the Health in Brazil, among them geographer Milton Santos extensive work, whose author will be discussed in the present article. Although he doesn't have  dedicated directly to the theme, this author got to influence a great amount of researchers that worry about the space subjects in health.   Key-words: Milton Santos, Geography of the Health, territory and public health.
