Sumario:Since the beginning of this century the World Water Council has held five World Water Forums where data from an eminent crisis in fresh water supply were presented. Topic that should be reflected by all, and here we present a reflection on the paradox of water in the Brazilian Amazon and see that it contains not a crisis of availability of fresh water, but the crisis of unequal access to drinking water.
