Sumario:CLACSO (Consejo Latinoamericano de Ciencias Sociales/Latin American Council of Social Sciences) is a 30 years old academic network gathering 173 social science research and teaching institutions in 21 countries of Latin America and the Spanish Caribbean. Each of these institutions has ongoing research related to poverty issues and results are published in journals, books, working documents and conference papers which are not readily available in their printed format because of high costs of postage, reduced number of volumes printed and lack of interlibrary loan among cities and countries.
