Sumario:This article analyzes the National TV coverage of the 2006 Mexican elections. Also talks about the links between the two mean broadcast companies with the national hegemonic elites, either economics or political, depends on the historical moment. As well, realize a critical analysis based on theoretical studies over the social function of the Mass media, especially, about the omnipresence of TV in everyday life, that it seems that TV becomes a Big Brother (that) is watching us, in a new kind of Orwellian world.
