We analysed ethnographic material generated in the years 2022 and 2023 with the Centros Educativos para la Producción Total (CEPT), schools in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, where the pedagogy of alternation is implemented. After conducting a theoretical review of concepts and experiences that gave rise to pedagogical practices linked to social transformation, both in Argentina and in Europe, we framed the pedagogy of alternation in the framework of "insurgent pedagogies". Methodologically, we worked with an ethnographic and collaborative approach and conducted an interpretative analysis of two specific instances of the fieldwork carried out with CEPTs in which students, teachers and other members of the rural community interact. We conclude that the articulation with diverse actors that are part of the territory and the capacity for creation are particular signs of the pedagogy of alternation. On the other hand, we emphasize that the practices that are put into play in this pedagogy are oriented towards the common. El propósito de este trabajo es analizar los rasgos específicos de la dimensión comunitaria de la pedagogía de la alternancia, creada en la década de 1930 por campesinos de una región del sudoeste francés. Analizamos material etnográfico generado en los años 2022 y 2023 junto con los Centros Educativos para la Producción Total (CEPT), escuelas de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina, donde se implementa la pedagogía de la alternancia. Luego de realizar un recorrido teórico de conceptos y experiencias que dieron lugar a prácticas pedagógicas vinculadas a la transformación social, tanto en Argentina como en Europa, encuadramos a la pedagogía de la alternancia en el marco de las “pedagogías insurgentes”. Metodológicamente, trabajamos con un enfoque etnográfico y colaborativo y realizamos un análisis de corte interpretativo de dos instancias concretas del trabajo de campo realizado con los CEPT en las cuales interactúan estudiantes, docentes y otros miembros de la comunidad rural. Concluimos que la articulación con actores diversos que forman parte del territorio y la capacidad de creación son señas particulares de la pedagogía de la alternancia. Por otro lado, destacamos que las prácticas que se ponen en juego en esta pedagogía se orientan hacia lo común.
