| Sumario: | In this article, we will work on the Program: disability and Human Rights, of the Extension Secretariat, of the Faculty of Law of the National University of Rosario. Created to give more visibility to the phenomenon and influence disability policies at the national and international level. We will analyze the background of the Program: Disability and Human Rights, from research to extension. We will examine disability in history with the three philosophical models, where a transformation took place, perceiving these people first as magical beings and then as human beings. We will observe the importance of the topic in the legal field, taking into account the objectives and activities of the Program that include extension, teaching and research. We will study the relationship between education and disability in higher education. We will discuss compliance with the Convention in educational matters from civil society with the intervention of the Program in the drafting of alternative reports before the United Nations in the years 2017 and 2023. And we will see the Observations of the Convention Committee for the State Party Argentina, taking into account into consideration the alternative reports for the years 2017 and 2023, and the impact of society at the national level through the presentation of the Observations in the Chamber of Deputies of the Nation. |
