Sumario:In the present work we investigate the strategies employed by Pedro C. Molina aimed at reducin grisks and maximizin gprofits to consolidate their economic position at the end of the 19th century. At he same time, we analyze the personal aspects and factors of the particular historical conjuncture of the area of Tercero Arriba (Córdoba) that influenced the transformation of a rural and political entrepreneur to venture into real estate with the foundation on their lands of a town like Almafuerte (Córdoba).
