Sumario:The purpose of this work is to study the role of the urban crowd in Buenos Aires in the first years of the 20th century from the current of Alienism and the role of the city as a producer of artificiality. As well, in relation to diverse behaviors that appeared like moral corruptors: the ambition unmeasured, the "fetiquismo", the game, among others. We also study the role of suggestion in the crowd in the cases of certain urban characters as the "death workers". From the psychiatric discoursesalienistas and hygienists tried to disarm the dangers that the urban multitude implied from the psychiatrisation of certain behaviors considered dangerous and the implementation of certain measures of prevention in relation to the body.
