Sumario:"Mendozazo" is the name given to the days of April 1972 in which broad sectors mobilized against the economic policies of the dictatorship self-appointed as “Argentine Revolution”. We will pay attention to an actor on which there is no consensus in historiography regarding its participation: the student movement. From the identification of contradictory historiographic views on the student movement during the “Mendozazo”, we formulate the following questions: Was the student movement present during the days of April 1972? And if so, How did the students participate? In this sense, we will review what historiography points out or omits about student participation in the “Mendozazo”, and then confront these views with primary sources such as newspapers of the time and oral testimonies.
