Sumario:This collective contribution addresses the problem ofinequalities in the world of work in different spaces in the interiorof Argentina in the first half of the 20th century based on fourcase studies. The main aim is to account for the diversities of laborexperiences and the processes of construction of labor legislationfrom a viewpoint that involves multiple social and state actors. The"off-center" perspective of the big cities -especially Buenos Airesandfocused on social inequalities make the canonical visions ofthe world of work and the construction of labor legislation morecomplex and nuanced.
