| Sumario: | This paper analyses the complex process of constructionof the mechanisms of political representation that functionedsince the 1853 Constitution in Argentina. With this aim, itconsiders the instruments created in it for the voter to delegatehis portion of sovereignty as well as those that established thequalifications required for voters. It also revises the strategiesdeveloped by different social actors to integrate into the politicalcommunity. These reflections will also enable new comparativeanalysis with other Latin American and European realities. |
