Sumario:The difficult relations between the Count-Duke of Olivares and Don Mateo de Lison, procurator of the Cortes of Castile, reveled the existence of a political opposition in the early years of the government of the all-powerful Valide and the confrontation of certains characters with the ambitious reform projects of Don Gaspar de Guzmán. The accumulated tension led to a critical interview between both characters and its consequence was the banishment of the procurator from the Court of Madrid. His study allows us to know what was going on inside the power.
