The cases of Comitán and Zapaluta make evident that Indians and their ways of deliver tribute were the most affected, as well as their community treasuries and goods. Beyond success and failure, the monarch officers of the Chiapas intendancy continued to intertwine their government commitments with their personal interests, both leading to the control of labor, money, possessions, and services of the natives. Acá se muestran algunos cambios, continuidades, adaptaciones, logros y desaciertos asociados con la implementación en Chiapas del gobierno de los intendentes, en concreto el sistema de repartimientos, a finales del siglo XVIII. Los casos de Comitán y Zapaluta evidencian que los más afectados fueron los indios y sus formas de tributar, como también sus cajas y bienes de comunidad. Más allá de los éxitos y fracasos, los funcionarios monárquicos de la intendencia de Chiapas siguieron cruzando las obligaciones de gobierno con sus intereses personales, desembocando ambos en el control del trabajo, dinero, bienes y servicios de los naturales. Aqui mostramos algumas mudanças, continuidades, adaptações, conquistas e erros associados à implementação em Chiapas do governo dos prefeitos, especificamente do sistema de repartimiento, no final do século XVIII. Os casos de Comitán e Zapaluta mostram que os mais afectados foram os índios e as suas formas de pagamento de impostos, bem como os seus fundos e bens comunitários. Para além dos sucessos e fracassos, os funcionários monárquicos do gabinete do presidente da Câmara de Chiapas continuaram a cruzar as obrigações governamentais com os seus interesses pessoais, ambos conduzindo ao controlo do trabalho, dinheiro, bens e serviços dos nativos.
