| Sumario: | In recent decades Italian historiography has been enriched with new researchs that have allowed to understand the functioning of the Spanish Monarchy in the modern age. In particular, studies carried out on the political actors who built their careers in the Mediterranean and Atlantic areas, have highlighted how we can reconstruct a connected history that starts from the experiences of individuals and that puts the right attention both to the circulation of knowledge and to the relations at local level. |
