Sumario:Often seduced by certain historiographical trends or “fashions”, historians select only documents that can support their ideas, relegating those that would question them and sometimes even neglecting the context in which the events under study took place. Through the case of the Moorish minority, the author reflects on the relevance or, on the contrary, the abuses of the use of key concepts such as tolerance, coexistence, assimilation, integration, genocide and ethnocide. At the same time, he analyses the appropriate sources for approaching the complex relations between Moors and Old Christians.
