| Sumario: | The article explores the spaces, actors, and rhythms of political mobilization in the city of Buenos Aires during a particularly conflictive situation in the 1890s: the ministry of Aristóbulo del Valle in 1893. It analyzes how the strategies of the leaderships to process political conflict and the ebbs and flows of mobilization affected each other. These events show that the political instability of those years, which has usually been attributed to the exclusive handling of power by the National Autonomist Party, was also the product of the attempts to incorporate opposition sectors into government. |
