| Sumario: | This paper seeks to pay tribute to Juan Carlos Garavaglia, to whom we all owe so much. The projects that he pursued with enthusiasm and generosity meant opportunities for many of us. In my case, I had the chance of meeting him when he first arrived to the UNCPBA, during the recovery of democracy. Since then, when he drove the creation of the Instituto de Estudios Histórico-Sociales (IEHS), his work in teaching and research has been and still is a permanent source of inspiration that lights the course of my own research. |
