Focused on the debate on the importance of the local agencies for regional development, it will analyze the Council’s first public works plans. Then, it will indicate the order of priorities of the tasks performed in each province. Finally, it will establish whether there was continuity in the execution of public works agreements with provincial governments of different political sign to the national executive. Este artículo se propone comprobar si el Consejo Federal de Inversiones, un organismo interprovincial argentino, avanzó en su finalidad fundacional de lograr un desarrollo basado en la descentralización económica. Focalizado en el debate sobre la importancia de los organismos locales para el desarrollo regional, analizará los primeros planes de trabajos públicos del Consejo. Luego indicará el orden de prioridades de las tareas realizadas en cada provincia. Por último, establecerá si hubo continuidad en la ejecución de los convenios de obras públicas con gobiernos provinciales de distinto signo político al poder ejecutivo nacional.
