| Sumario: | This article intends to verify whether the Federal Investment Council, an Argentinian interprovincial agency, advanced in its foundational purpose of achieving development based on economic decentralization. Focused on the debate on the importance of the local agencies for regional development, it will analyze the Council’s first public works plans. Then, it will indicate the order of priorities of the tasks performed in each province. Finally, it will establish whether there was continuity in the execution of public works agreements with provincial governments of different political sign to the national executive. |
