Diplomatic discussions between Chile and Argentina on the offer of scholarships to Paraguayan officials at the end of the First World War are discussed. The organisms under analysis correspond to the Legación de Chile en Asuncion (LCHP), represented by managers Enrique Nieto Gallardo and Gonzalo Montt Rivas, and the Legación de Paraguay en Santiago de Chile (LPCH), led by Fulgencio R. Moreno. The documentation is preserved in the Historical Archives (AGHRE) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Chile (MRECH).
