| Sumario: | October 17, 1945 is a date that marked Argentina´s past history and still has reminiscences in the present. That day, a group of workers, with a degree of spontaneity and independency from large trade union structures, movilized to Plaza de Mayo in Buenos Aires, claiming the release of Perón. Behind Perón’s liberation, hid the defense of material improvements given thorughout the so-called Revolución de Junio, the coup d’état that had Perón as one of its main exponents and managed the fate of the country since 1943.
The guiding question of this work is what happened in Entre Ríos province in those days, and to try respond in base of a historical reconstruction of the events happened during that “days of october”. To give a real provincial approach, events in main cities of Entre Ríos has been researched, as well as its capital. Also, several sources were consulted, such as local newspapers, declassified files and confidential documents and files from Fondo Justo from the Archivo General de la Nación. |
