Sumario:In this work, we analyze the possibility of making a new version of Cordoba Durchmusterung. In order to estimate it, we address a sky area comprising about 18000 stars from this catalog.Starting from the current digital version, available at VizieR database as catalog I/114, transcription errors are detected and corrected. This goal is achieved by automatically generating a list of records with errors and manually comparing these records in both catalogues (digital vs. printed version). In addition, information available only in the printed version is added to the digital catalog. Finally, we propose an algorithm that performs a cross-identification between this catalog and a modern one (Positions and Proper Motions eXtended). The peculiarity of this algorithm compared to those present in the literature is that double stars can be properly cross-referenced.
