Within this framework, this article analyzes one of the fundamental components of this anti-corruption campaign, which took place in the subnational spheres of government, and which included accusations and judicial processes against many former governors and local officials. It will be evident that the fight against corruption was replicated, in a significantly homogeneous manner, in all the country's provinces and that, acting as delegates of central power, the de facto governors identify subversives and the corrupt as the main enemies of the Process.
