| Sumario: | This article proposes a preliminary study of the Central Board for the Relief and Reconstruction of Spain as an organization dedicated to solidarity with the republican side during the Spanish Civil War (1936 - 1939) in local areas of southern Santa Fe. The analytical approach recovers the methodological toolkit proposed by regional or local history from a perspective that attempts to complicate the category of antifascism as the development of new practices and discourses that give content to the formation of a wide network of entities outside the scope traditional as political parties or unions. The objective is to place the focus on the new dynamism that the set of social actors gave to this Board, giving rise to a unified, critical and heterogeneous social activism in tension with the conservative sectors of the provincial government and civil society. |
