| Sumario: | This article is the product of a documentary review that analyzed 50 research articles whose theoretical support was Sergei Moscovici's theory of Social Representations. The articles were published between 2018 – 2023 in the Web of Science database. 76% of the studies were carried out in the American continent, 20% in the European continent and 4% in the African continent. Regarding the research theme, 70% of the articles were subscribed to the education category, 14% to economic and sociopolitical problems, 8% to theoretical perspectives and another 8% to issues related to the life cycle. The analysis of the research articles showed us that 78% of the research carried out took place in the geolocated south; that is, in Latin American and African countries, this geospatial location made us wonder about the importance of the SR for the countries of the South, why does the SR theory make so much sense to the countries of the geolocalized South?, even more than to the countries of the north from which it comes in terms of geolocation but also of epistemological conception? |
