| Sumario: | This article analyzes the male representations of a group of militant cis males belonging to the political coalition Juntos por el Cambio in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA) during the period 2019-2021. Through a qualitative strategy with semi-structured interviews it seeks to explore the various ways in which questions of patriarchy impact the discourses, roles and militant practices of the group. At the same time, this work investigates the various expressions of micro-machism, stereotypes, gender roles and privileges in that same coalition. Finally, the article analyzes the actors' representations of family and social class, and the construction of their masculine subjectivities. This paper shows how the men of Juntos por el Cambio, do not notice or identify their privileges, although they are concerned about gender inequality |
