The analysis is framed in the country's foreign policy (FP), institutional changes and the international and regional situation, which positively impacted the Uruguayan´s horizontal cooperation evolution with Latin America (LA). According to these variables, and in order to show the dynamics of this cooperation, the research analyzes the four morphological dimensions of the Uruguayan SSC: geometrical, sectorial, geographical and financial, according to the analytical framework developed by Lengyel and Malacalza (2012). The work, allowed to demonstrate the increase and deepening of the Uruguayan South-South technical cooperation with LA for the decade 2005-2015, where the sustainable development was in the center of the priorities. El presente trabajo propone aportar al conocimiento y comprensión de la CSS uruguaya, por medio de un estudio de su evolución para el período 2005-2015. Dicho análisis, se encuentra enmarcado en la política exterior (PE) del país, sus cambios institucionales y la coyuntura internacional y regional, que afectaron e impactaron positivamente en la evolución de la cooperación horizontal de Uruguay con la región latinoamericana. En función de dichas variables, y con el objetivo de mostrar las dinámicas de la CSS uruguaya, se procedió a la realización de un estudio de las cuatro dimensiones morfológicas de la CSS del país: geométrica, sectorial, geográfica y financiera, de acuerdo con el marco analítico desarrollado por Lengyel y Malacalza (2012). El mismo permitió demostrar un aumento y profundización de la CSS técnica de Uruguay con América Latina (AL) para la década 2005-2015, que pasó a colocar al desarrollo sustentable en el centro de las prioridades.
