Sumario:The paper aims to contribute to the knowledge and understanding of the Uruguayan SSC, by studying its evolution for the 2005-2015 period. The analysis is framed in the country's foreign policy (FP), institutional changes and the international and regional situation, which positively impacted the Uruguayan´s horizontal cooperation evolution with Latin America (LA). According to these variables, and in order to show the dynamics of this cooperation, the research analyzes the four morphological dimensions of the Uruguayan SSC: geometrical, sectorial, geographical and financial, according to the analytical framework developed by Lengyel and Malacalza (2012). The work, allowed to demonstrate the increase and deepening of the Uruguayan South-South technical cooperation with LA for the decade 2005-2015, where the sustainable development was in the center of the priorities.
