For the purposes of this work, this will be understood as the sovereignty dispute between the United Kingdom and the Argentine Republic over the South Atlantic Islands, the surrounding maritime spaces, and Antarctica. To this end, we draw on the theoretical tools of public policy and international relations theories and argue that the belief system of Argentine decision-makers and the cognitive dissonance regarding the international scenario and the territorial conflict have influenced the Argentine government's decision-making. To this end, we analyzed documents, speeches, and interviews with the Argentine president and his foreign ministers, as well as interviews with diplomatic officials and bureaucrats from the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Defense. The article concludes that Javier Milei's government is an example of the ideologically driven foreign policies of the Alt-Right and that this ideological vision has shaped political guidelines regarding the Malvinas Question. El presente artículo analiza la política exterior del presidente argentino Javier Milei entre el 10 de diciembre de 2023 hasta el 30 de junio de 2025, puntualmente en relación a la Cuestión Malvinas. A los efectos de este trabajo, será entenderá ésta como la disputa de soberanía entre el Reino Unido y la República Argentina por las Islas del Atlántico Sur, los espacios marítimos circundantes y la Antártida. Para ello, se recurre al herramental teórico de las teorías de políticas públicas y de las relaciones internacionales y se sostiene que el sistema de creencias de los decisores argentinos y la disonancia cognitiva en relación al escenario internacional y el conflicto territorial ha influido en la toma de decisiones del gobierno argentino. Para ello, se han analizado los documentos, discursos, entrevistas del presidente argentino y sus cancilleres, así como también se han realizado entrevistas a actores diplomáticos, y burócratas de la Cancillería y el Ministerio de Defensa. El artículo concluye que el gobierno de Javier Milei es un ejemplo de las políticas exteriores ideologizadas de las Alt-Right y que esa visión ideológica ha afectado los lineamientos políticos en relación a la Cuestión Malvinas.
