As a methodological strategy, the principles of International Law contained in Resolution 2625 (1970) of the United Nations General Assembly were used as indicators. In conclusion, Uruguay tends to see an Israel that is more attacked than an aggressor by invocation or omission, by not issuing statements about its army's counteroffensive, except in one exception. Chile demonstrates a clear commitment to the destiny of Palestine beyond the 2023-2024 conflict itself. El objetivo de este artículo consistió en analizar los comunicados oficiales emitidos por las Cancillerías de Chile y Uruguay entre el 7 de octubre de 2023, fecha del ataque del movimiento islamista Hamás en contra de Israel, y el 7 de abril de 2024, fecha en que se cumplen seis meses desde el suceso anterior, caracterizado por una fuerte represalia de Israel en la Franja de Gaza. Como estrategia metodológica, se usaron como indicadores los principios de Derecho Internacional contenidos en la Resolución 2625 (1970) de la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas. Como conclusión, Uruguay tiende a contemplar a un Israel más agredido que agresor por invocación u omisión, al no emitir comunicados sobre la contra ofensiva de su ejército, salvo en una excepción. Chile demuestra un claro compromiso con el destino de Palestina más allá del conflicto 2023-2024, en sí mismo.
