Sumario:This article attempts to contribute to the current debate on the possibilities of building a robust, consistent, and long-term pattern of international insertion. This should have a single objective: to increase the real power of the country in the dimensions of Hegemonic Interdependence to raise the levels of development of Argentina. We consider this objective, the structural nationalinterest, as that which allows other interests to be achieved. To do this, we will argue two points. On the one hand, we will critically question the approaches that attempt to understand the international order based on a linear transition towards the Asia-Pacific, without considering other aspects and actors. On the other hand, we propose that Argentina should focus its foreign policy on other elements than the characterization of foreign policy as a fixed, immobile, and definitive strategy in a new non-hegemonic bipolarity. On the contrary, we maintain that it must reflect an inclusive development model and be adapted to various situations in an increasingly uncertain, interdependent world but with clear global hierarchies.
