| Sumario: | In the present work we report 22 new records of vascular plant species for the department of Caseros, Santa Fe, Argentina. These new records are the partial result of the study of a portion of a railway track that crosses the urban area of the city of Casilda, in its downtown area. This study consisted of the systematic survey, during several years, of vascular plant species in order to expand the floristic knowledge of the area and analyze the role of railways as potential biological corridors in highly anthropized areas. |
