| Sumario: | This paper describes the functioning of the mental health ward and the mental health admissions carried out at the Hospital Escuela Eva Perón in Granadero Baigorria, Gran Rosario, north of this city. These are in charge of interdisciplinary teams of residents - doctors, psychologists and social workers. The purpose of this paper is to analyse, on one side, the role of hospital admissions in general hospitals within the therapeutic strategy for subjective crises; and on the other, the place of Social Work in the interdisciplinary mental health teams that receive emergency situations on call, and in the accompaniment of hospital admissions. The methodology used is an analysis of documents and records. As a result, it shows the importance of hospital admissions in general hospitals, interdisciplinary and RISaM training, for the care of people with subjective suffering. |
