| Sumario: | Colombia has experienced an armed conflict for more than 50 years, which has led in recent years to the search of a political outcome, to build peace. This paper attempts to reflect on the challenges and dilemmas of Social Work regarding the processes of accompaniment and integral reparation to victims, within the framework of peacebuilding in Colombia, after the agreement was signed in Havana between the FARC-EP and the national government. To this end, some general socio-historical characteristics of the armed conflict in Colombia, their main impacts and damages to the population will be addressed, to make light of some challenges concerning the professional action of Social Work in peace-building contexts. |
