| Sumario: | Social Eugenics has become a current hegemonic biopolitical category. It emanates from the utopia of freedom and equality but it is associated with the contemporary project of collective submission. Life – its preservation, extension and stretching – constitutes one of the targets of the power and the public policies. But another goal is the subjection to spectral life, toinequality, poverty or confinement. In other words, it is life in death. It is in this context that politics is founded on the “messianic nature” and in the banal radical evil. Politics seeks the happiness of the living; but while it designs and executesthe project of total dominance, it announces the required collective sacrifice; it promises a massive hope by recognizing that everyone has a right to happiness and salvation. This paradox addresses the current fallacy on Human Rights. The question on Rights is another ruse used by the power in order to consolidate subjugation. The power defines who can be accounted as human and who cannot; it legitimates the production of everything human while creating the field of the spectrally human. |
