This paper tried to point out that the playful –as creative power- and collective empowerment -in the democratic construction perspective- can be configured as antidotes to the inflexible modes of (not) care. Collective and creative experiences of a psychologist resident in mental health -in Campinas-SP (Brazil) and in elective internship held in Rosario (Argentina)- are developed along the paper: the potential of what was produced by/ from experiences, as well as challenges regarding the need institutional permeability in order to be able to deploy a libertarian care, singular and that sustains the difference. En un escenario de tensiones y reveses político–democrático–sociales en las Políticas de Salud, el presente trabajo reflexiona sobre las prácticas de salud mental y el riesgo de que, en ese contexto, se construyan formas de atención a partir del conservadurismo y la burocratización ya presentes en las instituciones. Se trató de señalar que lo lúdico –como potencial creativo– y los agenciamientos colectivos –en la perspectiva de la construcción democrática– pueden configurarse como antídotos a los modos enyesados de (no) cuidar. A partir del relato de experiencia de una psicóloga residente en salud mental, se presentan experiencias creativas y colectivas en Campinas–SP (Brasil) y en la pasantía electiva realizada en Rosario (Argentina). Se señala el potencial de lo que fue producido por/ a partir de las experiencias, así como los desafíos respecto a la necesidad de porosidad institucional para la realización de un cuidado libertario, singular y que sostenga la diferencia.
