The articles were selected from three Argentine newspapers with a strong focus on economic, financial and business matters: El Cronista, Ámbito Financiero and El Economista. These articles are written in Rioplatense Spanish and were published after the Argentina’s 2021 mid-term elections. Our goal is to fully analyze and understand where it is placed their focus of attention, and how the post pandemic effects on the Argentine economy are reflected at the discourse level. We are acquainted with the fact that our corpus is certainly intersected by a media-related logic. According to Hjarvard [2], “media play a relevant role in transforming culture and society”. We started from the dictionaries and grammars elaborated by our IES_UNR team based on the NooJ platform, Silberztein [4]. Therefore, two semantic fields were established, one related to the pandemic and the other to economic problems such as poverty, restrictions, devaluation and, of course, Argentina's debt with the IMF. In terms of perspectives, we are planning to add other Argentine reference newspapers to our corpus. En este trabajo, se pretende proceder al tratamiento automático de un corpus de textos periodísticos en español rioplatense, en el marco de la iniciativa que lleva a cabo el Centro de Estudios de Tecnología Educativa y Herramientas Informáticas de procesamiento del lenguaje (CETEHIPL). Dichos textos corresponden a tres medios importantes de la prensa argentina, especializados en cuestiones económicas, temática central que abordamos aquí: El Cronista, Ámbito financiero y El Economista. En cuanto al eje temporal, se tomaron en cuenta publicaciones recientes, es decir, posteriores a las elecciones legislativas de noviembre de 2021. Se procura analizar dicho corpus de modo de dilucidar dónde se encuentra el foco de interés, así como registrar el efecto de la pospandemia en lo económico, por supuesto siempre a nivel discursivo. Se entiende que en este caso, nuestro corpus de observación nos sitúa en un punto atravesado por la lógica mediática, ya que como muy bien afirma Hjarvard [2], los medios de comunicación juegan un papel relevante transformando la cultura y la sociedad 2 . Para el análisis automático, se partió de los diccionarios y gramáticas elaborados por nuestro equipo IES_UNR en base a la plataforma NooJ, desarrollada por Max Silberztein [4] y establecimos por tanto dos campos semánticos, uno atinente a la pandemia y otro atinente a los problemas económicos tales como la pobreza, las restricciones, la devaluación y por supuesto la deuda argentina con el FMI. En cuanto a nuestras perspectivas, proyectamos ampliar nuestro corpus con otros medios periodísticos argentinos.
