Sumario:The article aims to analyze the various meanings, facilitators and difficulties that young people faced in the creation and development of microenterprises in a context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The results show that, beyond the particularities and challenges that being an entrepreneur assumes, managing uncertainty became a complex point. The greatest obstacles that occurred in the context of the pandemic meant that young people had to adapt and/or recreate their entrepreneurial activities in unprecedented ways. In this scenario, the impact is observed not only of digitalization but also of the state policies implemented in the workplace against COVID-19, which served to promote youth microenterprises.
