Sumario:This academic article studies the access (active and passive) to medicines in the framework of the pandemic COVID- 19 from the consideration of the existing mechanisms in the international system, mainly considering the World Health Organization, and secondarily the World Trade Organization and the World Intellectual Property Organization, which turn out to be the three organizations involved in the matter. Also explores possible scenarios of international cooperation through technical cooperation in health matters.
