Sumario:The objective of this article is to analyze the importance of ethics in the management of international development cooperation projects (IDC) and explore how ethics is integrated into such management, considering the values and principles associated with its implementation in organizations. To carry out this research systematically, a qualitative methodology based on the documentary review of specialized literature on ethics and project management was applied. This allowed for a comprehensive analysis of the value system present in the administration and management of international development interventions. The obtained results highlight the significance of ethics in project management, identifying the main values attributed to it and proposing mechanisms that organizations can implement for its proper management.
