Sumario:This article aims to analyze the international participation of a subnational actor of relevant importance and little investigated, the Buenos Aires Province (Argentina), during the government of Maria Eugenia Vidal (2015-2019), of the alliance Cambiemos. Her victory was postulated as a novelty, given that in the past 28 years –since 1987– all the governors of the district belonged to the Justicialist Party. In this way, the investigation seeks to contribute to the topic and delve into the challenges posed by the internationalization of subnational actors. In particular, it seeks to address the characteristics acquired by international policy in the province through changes in its government, in relation to the topics, guidelines and means to achieve them. In this framework, it is used the case study methodology and the bibliographic and digital documents’ analysis.
